For every great portrait shot like this one (depicting what is doubtless our placid, immaculate life), I get a few others that reveal the real state of affairs around our place. I don't recall who it was that Jen was reprimanding in this picture, but I feel confident that they begged her pardon and obeyed her instantly.

Oh, I'm so glad there's no one around taking pictures of me reprimanding the children. (nor posting online) :)
But it's good to know I'm not the only one, and that even people I really look up to have to put on their "scary face" (as my kids put it) sometimes.
