Because we're approaching the end of the month, we decided to visit our nature spot for the last time. Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Buzz helped us find a little trail which we followed, discovering native Texas trees and a number of fun vines which the children wanted to swing on.

We almost didn't make it out there this month! I'm amazed at how much our scorching heat and lack of rain has changed the landscape since last month.

Our Earth Day celebration consisted of dropping off our recycling, visiting our Nature Spot, enjoying a long nature walk at one of our favorite parks and late-afternoon yardwork.
