Today, Jen drove to Austin with the kids to pick up Grandma and Grandpa Sam from Bergstrom Airport. We've realized that the drive through Bastrop and back home is much more pleasant than the route from Houston, so Austin has become our habitual airport for visits. The drive was pleasant, particularly the return.
Before the arrival:
M: I think Grandma Sam and Grandpa be so happy to see Tantor! (Tantor is the wooden riding elephant which Grandpa built decades ago, and who is visiting the children of each of the families by turn.)
