farm patch

After work, we went 'round the corner to the Farm Patch to select this year's pumpkins. Each of the children chose an individual pumpkin to carve, and we got an extra-warty pumpkin for Margaret. While there was no hay maze this year (because of the drought, there's simply not enough hay in Texas for them to have built it), they did make a little petting zoo area in the back, with a few photo-friendly areas. The older children demanded a chance to get pictures holding Greta (making it easy for once).
