quel désastre!

Casper made the mistake of placing Toffee, his lovey, on top of Gwendolyn's lampshade. By the time that an adult noticed and turned the lamp off, the damage had been done -- the fur below the little dog's tail had darkened and hardened in the heat (leaving the GE logotype, no less). Casper brought his pup to us, saying "Toffee's rotten!" And in fact, he does look a little dirty down there (unfortunate placement, too). But at least our house didn't burn down.
