Gwendolyn made some specialized Christmas cards for a few of her favorite people (above is the one for her piano teacher, Miss Emilee). In them, she pasted nutcrackers or ballerinas which she had drawn, colored and then cut out. Why not just draw the nutcracker on the inside of the card and forgo the cutting and pasting? I have no idea...
