Unfortunately, our vacation coincided with the third week of consecutive hundred-plus degree days. This didn't keep us from spending plenty of time outside, but our stamina was greatly reduced. 
But we had plenty of time between soccer games to make one of our favorite dinners, spaghetti with leek and sausage ragu.
