Yesterday we had some plumbers out to replace the bathtub faucet in the kids' bathroom. Of course, my tool-obsessed boys were very interested in the process. When Todd got home from work, Casper reported, "The plums came and fixed the bathtub!" The next day, he started talking about when the "pears" came over. It took me a minute to realize that he was referring to the plums, er, plumbers. While getting in the bath, he pointed at the faucet and told me, "The plums did that. They did it on purpose."

I love that shortened version of plumber: "plum." You could come up with all sorts of interesting new words just by shortening. I'm going to go check my blo on the comp. Hmmm...I guess it's not really the same. Plum is awesome!
