After returning from work, I mentioned to Jen that our friend Nicole had just successfully defended her dissertation. (Congratulations, Nicole!) Linus overheard me and said, "I know Nickle -- she drives a motorcycle." Once I reminded him that it's actually Jamie (Nicole's boyfriend and my colleague at the Library) who owns the motorcycle, Linus said, "I know Jamie -- he's my friend."
