put on your dancing shoes

Today was Gwendolyn’s first day of dance class. I’ve signed her up for a beginning ballet class just for homeschoolers. She was thrilled, excited about wearing her “leotart” and showing off her moves (not a lot of poise or grace in that lanky little body). After class, she called Granny to tell her about it and announced, “I did beautifully.”
